Story
The show starts off in Cob County, where an engaged couple named Maizy and Beau are planning their wedding. However, the wedding takes an unexpected break when the towns corn suddenly starts to die. The almost newlyweds agree to pause things and join the town in worrying about its crops.
Maizy decides to find answers in Florida. After she arrives in Tampa, she meets Gordy, who is pretending to be a corn doctor. Gordy promises to help her save her towns crops, even though he's really after her expensive bracelet to pay off his mob debts - and drama ensues.
