Ever since its creation more than 40 years ago, Les Misérables has transformed from an only-local theater classic running in Paris to one of the most top-rated and hit musicals in the world. Over the last century that the musical has been running, Les Misérables has been produced in 53 countries, in 22 different languages, and has been met with applause and standing ovations in each locale visited.

In April, the musical’s run arrives in a new location in Boise, where Les Mis will be hosted in Morrison Center For The Performing Arts on Sunday 26th April 2026. Morrison Center For The Performing Arts was purposefully created and constructed as the favorite theater venue of Boise, accommodating well-executed interior, from stage to seats, that is sizeable enough to have a play of this scale, as well as suitable services that are available inside the theater.

The show is all about the story of Jean Valjean, a convicted commoner distressingly searching for a second chance after he gets away from the chain gang. His entire journey, and his ultimate fate, are staged fully through song from the start to the finish of the play. Les Mis being lyricized from beginning to end is a storytelling tactic that the show has over other known theater shows, and is the primary reason why each individual song performance never fails in its objective of depicting each personal struggle in every word or lyric sung.

The musical is creatively executed and as a result of this manner, the show is also overflowing with memorable song numbers. Interestingly, despite the myriad of tunes that can be watched in this grand musical, every character in Les Misérables is given their own spotlight, with each individual number given as much emotional depth as the rest. No one who has watched a showing of Les Mis can stop thinking about Fantine’s “I Dreamed A Dream”, which conveys with the ballad a powerful longing and has been performed endlessly by other icons in present-day TV. “Bring Him Home” also intensely creates one of the musical's best moments, revealing to us the very soul of the main character in just one absolutely magnificent number.

Les Misérables will only be available in Morrison Center For The Performing Arts, Boise for a limited period and on Sunday 26th April 2026; seats are presently up for grabs via our ticketing partner by clicking the links that can be found on top of this page.
