You can maximize your enjoyment of the show and avoid any issues with Morrison Center security by following the rules below. If a specific event allows for items listed below, it will be noted in the show description. If you have any questions, you can contact Morrison Center at 208-426-1110

Accessibility Policy

The Morrison Center is proud to offer the following accommodations to guests in need.

  • Wheelchair Seating

Wheelchair seating in the Main Hall is available in Row I and (K for extra companion seating) of the Orchestra Level, and Row E and (G for extra companion seating) of the Mezzanine Level. Visit the seating chart for details. Entries 1, 11 & 12 completely avoid stair steps on approach from the lobby.

  • Sign Language Interpretation

Sign Language Interpretation is available upon request. You may either call ahead or ask at the gate.

  • Assistive Listening Devices

Listen Technologies Assistive Listening Systems (ALS) are available for use at no cost at all Morrison Center sponsored performances in the Main Hall. You may check out these devices at the information booth. You will be required to offer a current driver’s license or formal ID as collateral.

  • Parking and Public Transportation

The Morrison Center has two ramp entrances, one on the southeast parking lot side of the venue, next to the academic entrance, and the other on the riverside, main entrance to the Center. During non-event hours, marked accessibility parking is available on the west side of the building and in the southeast lot near the academic entrance to the building. Accessible parking for events will be directed by Parking Services attendants as locations may vary by event.

If you require, a house wheelchair is available to transport people from their cars at the front entrance or within the Center. Please request 24 hours in advance of the event by calling 208-426-1111.

Both entrances are equipped with power doors. Elevator access is available to all floors of the Center. Elevator controls are in Braille. Water fountains are at accessible heights.

If you need assistance once on site, please contact a guest services team member.

Camera Policy

Cameras and recording equipment are not allowed in the venue.

COVID-19 Related Policy

The Morrison Center understands the risks of exposure to COVID-19 in places where people gather. They want guests to understand that they should take all necessary precautions to keep themselves and their parties safe during their visit to the center. Because of the inherent risk, Boise State University, The Morrison Center, and all other relevant agencies will not claim responsibility for any exposures that may result.

Family Atmosphere Policy

The staff insist on maintaining a family-friendly atmosphere at Morrison Center. Guests who are found to be causing discomfort to guests through aggressive, abusive, or disconcerting behavior may be asked to leave. In addition, guests who appear to be intoxicated or under the influence may be asked to leave or barred entry.

If a show differs from this policy, it will be noted in the description.

Late Arrival Policy

Doors typically open an hour before a performance begins. It’s suggested that you arrive early so you have plenty of time to find parking and get to your seat. House bells will even ring to alert guests about the start of the show. 

Some events may bar entry for late entry. Please refer to your event description for more details.

Lost and Found Policy

If you find a lost item, please give it to event staff and they will take it to Lost and Found for you. If you lose an item during a show, you can check with event staff for assistance. Or you may call (208) 426-1111 to inquire about a lost item. Please be sure to leave a detailed description of your item and complete contact information.

The Morrison Center does not claim responsibility for any lost items.

Mask Policy

Prohibited Items

The following items are not allowed at most Morrison Center events.

  • Weapons of any kind (including spikes & chains
  • Outside food or drink
  • Outside alcohol
  • Illegal drugs and/or paraphernalia
  • Professional photo/audio/video equipment
  • Cans, bottles, flasks or similar containers
  • Large bags greater than 14″ x 14″ x 6″
  • Skateboards, umbrellas & backpacks can be checked at doors

Management reserves the right to prohibit items not listed above.

Smoking Rules

Smoking, including the use of e-products is not allowed within the Morrison Center. The Morrison Center has a designated patron smoking area. Please see House Management for location.
